Your Booking

If you are booking on behalf of a group, ensure you have the consent of all members and that they have read and agree to these terms. The “lead name” must be 18+ and is responsible for the booking, payment, and ensuring all guests are informed.

A booking is confirmed when you accept our quote, make payment, and receive a confirmation email. Contact us immediately if there are any errors in your confirmation.

If anyone is added to the group later, the lead name is responsible for their consent. Guests appearing intoxicated will be refused entry without refund.

Age Restrictions

Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult (18+). That adult must be part of the booking. No child is permitted to participate alone. Safety decisions are at our staff’s discretion.

Safety

The Game Lab is not liable for damages from rule violations. Anyone under the influence may be turned away. No food or drink is allowed in the escape room.

Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These terms are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

Special Requests

Special requests must be made at booking. We will try to meet them but cannot guarantee unless confirmed in writing.

Disabilities and Medical

Inform us in writing at booking if anyone has a condition that may affect participation. We may require medical confirmation. If we cannot accommodate the condition, the booking may be declined or cancelled with applicable charges.

Changes in Price

We reserve the right to update pricing at any time.

Changes by You

To change your booking, contact us in writing. We may charge an admin fee of £10 per person per change, plus any associated costs. Some changes may be treated as cancellations and subject to fees.

If You Cancel

No refunds are given for cancellations (including gift vouchers). To reschedule, contact us at least 7 days prior. We will try to accommodate, but this is not guaranteed.

If We Cancel or Change

We may make changes or cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. If so, you can accept a new arrangement or receive a full refund. In the case of “force majeure,” no compensation will be offered.

Our Liability to You

We are not liable for injury, loss, or expenses due to participant actions, third parties, or force majeure. This does not affect your statutory rights or our liability for negligence causing death or injury.

Your Responsibilities and Liability

You are responsible for your behavior and safety. Disruptive behavior may lead to cancellation without refund. Damage caused intentionally or irresponsibly will be charged. Late arrivals may be denied entry.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellations or changes due to war, riots, natural disasters, pandemics, weather, or other events beyond our control.
